Hillside Batteries

Hillside Batteries is a mobile car battery company based in Hillside, New Jersey, next to Newark. Rather than offering a jump and leaving, it brings a new battery to the vehicle and installs it on the spot at a driveway, workplace, parking lot or roadside. Technicians test the old battery first, carry brands such as Interstate, DieHard and ACDelco, and take the old unit away for recycling. Dispatch runs around the clock, and the company covers roughly 40 miles across seven northern New Jersey counties, including Essex, Union, Hudson and Bergen. Service area: 40-mile radius from Hillside: Essex, Morris, Hudson, Union, Middlesex, Bergen and Somerset counties. Hours: 24/7 dispatch.
